Colfax County Local DHHS Office Details
The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) assists low income families in purchasing nutritious food items at authorized grocery stores and other retailers. Alcoholic beverages, tobacco, paper products, pet food and other non-food items cannot be purchased with the SNAP benefit.
Note:
Individuals that are approved to receive the SNAP benefit, will get an EBT card via mail. It is imperative for individuals to be registered through the U.S. Postal Service in order to receive the EBT card.
