I was suppose to have a phone interview Wednesday at 12pm 11/17/2020. I start calling 11/10/2020 to do the interview early. After leaving two VM the mail box was full. I select the option to talk to someone else, It never answers (Certainly on hold/ wait time 45 min for another office) I went to Colleton office on 11/17/2020 at 12:08pm to let them know I didn't rec' a call. The employee at the window called and didn't get an answer. So I kept calling, still no contact. Went back to Colleton at 5:50pm to inform them I still have not done my interview. I was told she probably not at her desk, but the employee did call someone for advice. It is now 10:02 am 11/18/2020. I haven't heard anything. Mind you they cancel my previous application over a misunderstanding. And when I called about it they told me I still needed to do the application over. Even though it was not 30 days. My case has been moved to two different offices in less then a 30 day period. Stop passing the bulk. Its not fair.

This is for the greenwood county DSS office. I am from Union county but my snap or EBT paperwork has ended up with one of the greenwood DSS office workers. I don't know why they do that silly mess they give our stuff to people that are in other counties and I'm almost going on two weeks waiting on my EBT and I'm tired of waiting, I'm tired of calling, no one answers ever in greenwood. I'm beginning to wonder if greenwood really even has a DSS and employees. You guys are supposed to be there to help people in need or needy situations you guys are crippling the people that are already in needy situations by the lack of care & let's not even mention the word compassion and or the phrase pride in your work- customer service -any of that sound familiar to any of you Greenwood County DSS employees.
