This is a local South Carolina DSS Office.
You can apply at this office or go online to: SCMAPP.sc.gov.
SCMAPP is an online application for South Carolinians to apply for many health and human service programs.

Households, individuals, seniors and the homeless may all be eligible for SNAP bene?ts.
People who are working and need help to stretch their income to purchase food may also be eligible for SNAP bene?ts as well as those receiving Social Security bene?ts, child support or unemployment.
DSS administers the SNAP program through DSS county of?ces.
Eligibility caseworkers interview applicants and approve those who qualify to receive the food bene?t.
Quali?ed applicants for the SNAP program begin receiving SNAP bene?ts within 30 days of their application.
Some families and individuals need expedited bene?ts, which begin within seven days of application.
Once household eligibility is determined, your approved food stamp benefits will be deposited into an account each month.
The account is accessed by using an Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card.
The EBT card acts as a debit card.
Each time you use your card, your account will be reduced by the cost of the groceries you buy.

    I usually get my foodstamps on 13th of each month but I dont having a pending balance....i never received a recertification form and if i call number that's provided i dont have pin they ask me for please let me know what to do nothing has changed on my application just haven't got my stamps
